No. The Banqiao office is our physical base and makes in-person meetings easy for Greater Taipei clients, but we serve all of Taiwan. Taipei City is about 20 minutes away across the river, and we run ongoing projects in Keelung, Taoyuan and Taichung. Remote projects use video workshops plus a shared online progress board; delivery quality and process are identical to on-site work.
Yes, and we recommend it. The first requirements session is free and can happen at the Banqiao office or over video. We start by clarifying the business problem you are actually trying to solve, where your current process breaks down, your budget range and your timeline — then decide on technology and architecture, and only then quote. If we conclude an off-the-shelf product would serve you better, we will say so.
Location itself does not affect build quality. Three things do: whether the company has its own engineering team (many agencies subcontract), whether they use templates (cheap up front, paid for later in security and performance), and whether the admin panel is genuinely usable (this determines how often you have to go back to the vendor). If being able to sit down and explain your requirements in person matters to you, choosing a company you can actually walk into saves a great deal of back-and-forth.
